App update killed Lumen - oops!

Been using Lumen Trails for over a year. No issues. Updated today and now the app doesnt start when I tap the icon. I cant even get rid of the stupid iOS updated dot beside it. It just stays there taunting me. "You

Long enough to get rid of the dot," it says. "See the dot thats still there? Thats there to remind you that app doesnt work. Maybe you could delete and reinstall me but then you might lose all your settings and data. Try it. Go ahead and try it."
